It's a fact, that presently the companies and organizations have an increasing need in
those specialists who can work on computers, as it is difficult to imagine fields of economy
without the computers. In this regard a great attention in BEBC is paid to computer proficiency.
For this purpose there was organized a Calculating Center equipped with more than 80 modern
computers and office equipment.
In October / 1995, BEBC won a grant of "Eurasia" Fund in the amount of $ 12,000 US.
In 1999 the College became a pilot educational establishment of joint Uzbek-German
project for professional training. For the first time in 1999-2000 academic years on the basis
of the Uzbek-German project there was organized a group on the speciality of an "Office manager",
i.e. a manager's assistant in organizational and financial matters.
The teachers conducting lessons in the groups have repeatedly increased their
qualification in such cities as Pavlodar, Alma-Ata, Bishkek, Tashkent, Samarkand and in
Germany where they have learnt the modern techniques of teaching.
For realization of the project, German Technical Center has granted 150,000 DM, which
was used for buying modern computers and office equipment necessary for the teaching process.
The College has its own sport and health-restoring camp called "Shabboda", which is
situated in a picturesque place of Sarmysh in Navoi region. Every year while summer holidays,
100-150 best and honoured students go there for having rest and increasing their sport tonus.
